Working towards a more sustainable world

At Momentum Cycle Tools and Bike Parts, we believe that manufacturing industries must be responsible and commit to minimizing their environmental footprint. For us, sustainability is not just a goal—it’s a mindset that guides how we design, produce, and deliver our products.

Purposeful Production

We manufacture in small batches, allowing us to keep inventory lean and responsive. This approach helps us ship orders quickly while ensuring we produce only what’s needed—avoiding excess stock that sits unused. It’s a more thoughtful way for us to meet demand and reduce waste.

Producing a minimal number of parts at a time also helps us maintain the highest possible production quality for our customers. It allows us to closely monitor each batch and minimize reject rates. 3D printing—like any manufacturing process—can generate defective parts. By keeping rejects to a minimum, we reduce material waste and lessen our environmental impact.

Smarter Packaging Choices

Most of our packaging is made from cardboard and paper, which are recyclable and widely accepted. In addition, we do our best to reuse packaging materials—such as plastic bags and carton protective wraps—that we receive from our own supply orders. This helps minimize waste and gives these materials a second life. We encourage our customers to reuse them too, especially in their own workshops.

Momentum Cycle's products are packaged and shipped in fully recyclable and reusable minimalist packaging.

Supporting Local and Canadian Suppliers

Whenever possible, we choose to work with local and Canadian suppliers. This not only helps reduce transportation emissions, but also supports small businesses and strengthens our local and national economy. It’s a win-win for sustainability and community.

Built to Last

Durability is a key part of sustainability. Our tools are engineered to perform reliably over time, helping riders and mechanics maintain their bikes for as long as possible while allowing them to get the most out of them.

Looking Ahead

We’re committed to continuous improvement. As we grow, we aim to:

  • Explore new eco-friendly materials for future products.
  • Expand our efforts to reuse and recycle throughout our operations.

Usability, durability, and responsibility—these are the values that drive us. Thank you for choosing tools that are made with care, and thank you for choosing us!
