Are the Bearing Press Kits compatible with all bikes?
Our Bearing Press Kits are compatible with the vast majority of bikes. That being said, depending of the design and conception of your bike, it could be possible that some bearings are integrated into the frame; which is usually referred as “blind bearings”. Our Bearing Press Kits cannot be used to extract any “blind bearings” but could be used to install new bearings into your frame. Please refer to the How-tos and guidelines section of our website for more details.

How do I know what Bearing Press Kit I need for my bike?
It is possible for you to easily figure out which Bearing Press Kit you need for your bike. The bearings actually in place should have an ID number on them. It is also possible for you to determine which kit will be required for the job by measuring your actual bearings. To do so, you will need to measure the outside diameter, the bore (interior diameter) and the width of your bearings. Note that it is possible that your bike uses different sizes of bearings. You will need this information in order to properly do the job. Please refer to the How-tos and guidelines section of our website for more details.

My Bearing Press Kits and Crank feel tight on first use, what should I do?
Our tools are made considering tight production tolerances to ensure quality and proper use. It is possible that you feel your Bearing Press Kits are tight on the stainless-steel rod or when assembling the 3 parts together. The part will free-up as they will be used. You can accelerate this process, by voluntarily slide the kits on the stainless-steel rod or insert all parts of the Bearing Press Kits into each other repeatedly.

Will I be a better mechanic by using your tools?
Our tools will help you stand out, but won't turn you into a "professional mechanic" overnight. Please refer to the How-tos and guidelines section of our website for more details.
